Special People In Isaiah's Life

As we get ready to travel for our second trip to Ethiopia, we think of all the great people in Isaiah's life that are taking care of him right now. Today he is 10 months old. We can't believe that it has been five months already since we first saw his picture. He is cared for so well at the transition home and they show him genuine love. As we would carry him around during our first trip, they would call out his name and he would turn and give them a huge smile. Even though they were speaking to him in a language that we couldn't understand, we could tell that they were enjoying their jobs and they enjoyed providing the care and love that Isaiah has needed these first ten months of his life.

The most important - Isaiah's nanny, Alem. What a bond they must have formed in the last five months. I can only imagine how hard it is for the nannies to say goodbye to each of the children they take care of.

We want to remember each of these people. They are the some of the first one's that touched Isaiah's life. They provided the care, love, nourishment, healthcare, and protection during the time that we couldn't. We are forever indebted to them, and we can't thank them enough. We love you Isaiah and we are coming soon to bring you home to your forever family.
