One Step Closer

Our flights are officially booked for our first trip in January! It was actually cheaper for us to have a couple day layover in Rome, so we are excited to spend some time there on our way to meet Isaiah for the first time. The kids have been asking how much longer until we get him. To help them understand how long until our first trip, we made a paper chain. Each day they get to remove one link. They get so excited about it. Hopefully that excitement will continue for the next several months until we finally have him home! 49 days ...We wanted to add a hand picture and give a sneak peek at our little boy. He is getting so chubby and we can't wait to squeeze him. Our adoption agency said we can post pictures as long as you can't identify the child. The last few days were tense because someone had reported that we posted our referral picture on here (which we never did). What a mess! Anyway, we got it all clarified, and we didn't do anything wrong. Whew!
