One year ago!

This week marks the one year anniversary of starting our adoption journey. We can't believe that it has already been a year. The time has gone fast, but yet we think of everything that has taken place during that time and then it seems like it has been forever. We don't miss the days of filling out forms and sending them off for yet another authorization. We often wonder when that exciting day will come when we will finally see the beautiful face of our third child. We wonder if it will be a boy or a girl, how old they will be, what will their personality be, are they already born, etc, etc. Kyler and Macy are even getting excited and they fight over if it will be a boy or girl (they both want bunk beds!). We love getting the emails when another family has received a referral. Some day we will experience that great joy that will come with the news. We are currently number 35 on the waiting list. We started at 83!! Will we hear next week? Next month? Next year? We know that there is nothing we can do but trust in God's provision and timing. We know He has a perfect child picked to join our family.
